Had Sara known that her love for pastries would eventually become her career of choice, she may not have pursued her Bachelor's degree from McGill University in Arts. However, her love for texture, colour, shape, composition and good taste has evolved into her dream; Karbs Bakery Café.

In 2006, having made a name for herself in the Toronto food scene, Sara was named one of Toronto 's top female chefs. A Vancouver girl, Sara decided it was time to move home and launch her own business. Her passion for great food and the obvious joy it brings to others has inspired her menu. She uses only quality ingredients to create an extensive selection of delicious products.

Sara's plans for the future involve distribution of Karbs signature items to local boutique grocery markets, and ultimately national distribution of a wide variety of Karbs delicacies.

Karbs features hand-made pastries and baked goods made with all natural, seasonal and local ingredients. Light breakfast and lunch menu options are available and served in a warm and inviting environment with a commitment to exemplary customer service.
