 Lucia created Consider it Done fifteen years ago in Brisbane Australia . "People would arrive by yacht and not know who to call when they needed something done. From yacht maintenance, supplies, babysitters to private jet charters, everyone seemed to need something that they had no idea where to find it, so I helped them make it happen." In the same year, Lucia headed to Vancouver where she discovered there were more busy people with even more things to get done on land. So, Consider it Done expanded. While in Vancouver, Lucia began working with private owners, corporate clients and local yacht brokers, and then headed to Whistler to manage private holiday chalets. Whistler residents even awarded her "Best New Business" in their annual poll.
Lucia began her career in the Travel Industry where she managed the largest corporate travel office in Canada , but as her interest in sailing grew, she left the industry in 1990. Spending 4 months in the Australia, 1 month in Europe, 1 in the Middle East and the rest of the year between Vancouver and Whistler, organization became a finely honed skill. "It was originally driven by my seasonal moves for racing yachts, wine and snowboarding. It was a natural progression for me as I was organized in my multi location life, so organizing someone else was no problem."
Lucia had volunteered for over 20 years with high profile charity events from Vancouver to Australia, and even organized the founding event that now entirely funds an orphanage in Brazil. Managing events for a private party of 2 on a luxury yacht to over 25,000 attendees in 9 locations simultaneously is with which she is totally comfortable. After organizing Westerly Yachts annual Beneteau Yacht Owners Event in the Gulf Islands for many years, she moved on to offer management for numerous yacht brokers with their corporate communications, putting filing systems in place, owners events, and advertising. For Silverton Yachts, Lucia was brought on to launch their first owners' event in the San Francisco Bay area. With every Silverton owner worldwide on the invite list, it was no small task organizing everything from location to event program to "where do you park all those yachts?". Building brand loyalty for such a large luxury purchase is no small feet, but with more than 20% of attendees at her yacht events purchasing the same brand of yacht new within 5 years, it speaks volumes for her skills and style of management. Justin Stitches hired her to design and launch a new corporate division and change their entire company profile from store design to company logo. They are now in their 6th year of business and going strong as the premiere promotional product company in Vancouver . Whether it's stuffing envelopes, checking on your chalet, putting together gift bags or chairing the board on a multimillion dollar fundraiser, she gets the job gets done without ceremony.
As time passed, the word spread and soon calls were coming in from around the world for Lucia to coordinate private homes and chalets for clients she worked with on other events. Everything from annual chalet management, travel arrangements, transportation, yacht crews, cleaners, repairs and maintenance, landscapers, stocking the refrigerator and scouting out high end wines to fill cellars to name a few. She has coordinated projects in Canada, Australia, United States and Brazil. She has even coordinated the building and delivery of a yacht in France for a Canadian client that needed the delivery of school work for 2 years for 3 children on board sailing the globe.
The need came to expand and reorganize the business in 2002 led Lucia to take the SE program at Towards Excellence. Lucia then put together the most talented team in town, from Vancouver to Whistler and down under in Brisbane, Consider it Done makes it happen. Seamless, streamline execution, Consider it Done is not just our name, it's our mission.
