Mr. Wurtz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science from the University of British Columbia , a Masters in Public Administration from Concordia University and a Diploma in Internet Publishing, Multimedia and E-commerce. Dawayne has 10 years of experience in designing and developing web sites using advanced skills in HTML hand-coding, DreamWeaver, Home Site, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, XML, XHTML, Macromedia Flash, Multimedia, and E-commerce. His interest and dedication to web design and database development is conveyed through his teaching courses in Web Design, Internet Marketing, E-commerce, and Management of an On-line business, Management of a Corporate Web Site, and Strategic Planning and Project Management at Vancouver Career College .

In addition, Mr. Wurtz has nine (9) years of experience with the Federal government as a Senior Policy and Planning Advisor in the Information Technology sector. As a senior member on the strategic corporate planning and project management team, Dawayne was responsible for ensuring that the policies and planning procedures adhered to the Ministry's legislative and accountability framework. Within the context of the departmental strategic corporate plan, he provided both operational and strategic policy / planning advice to senior management.
