Malcolm Cottrell, Engineering Design and Project Management Services
Ortex Design produces mechanical plant, equipment and piping designs for industrial and petrochemical facilities to specifications provided by Clients. We also produce drawings of the designed plant, equipment and piping using either manual or Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software, depending on a client's requirements.
Ortex Design will also produce new, original drawings or modified existing drawings for plant and piping upgrades, with little or no new design content.Project Management is a professional service, provided either as an adjunct to Design and Drafting, or as a stand alone service. Technical support in the form of progress reports, manpower planning and scheduling, material specification writing, technical reviews and inspections, etc are further services that can be provided under the umbrella of Project Management, or, provided separately as individual services.
