Mainstream Actors Studio, an initiative of Rtiger Productions, provides acting classes for both adults and children. Instructors are local professionals who are currently working in the Mainstream film industry.
The studio gives students the foundation skills they need to start a career as a professional actor in the local film and TV industry. Students will work from current mainstream film and TV production scripts. Adult classes are one night a week. Children's classes are Saturday and Sunday during the daytime.
A seasoned professional actor with 10 years' experience in the international film and TV industry, Raahul quickly realized the importance of establishing BC as an independent force in the entertainment industry: “My motivation is to put our film and TV industry on the world map. Local professionals need a base from which they can launch themselves into the mainstream film industry. Our goal is to train actors from our community and cast them in our productions here in future, and to help create a strong independent film and TV industry right here in BC.”
